Hello everyone, first post here (and first on this board!)!
Since forever I was looking for a real nice sort of strategy-style D&D (preferably 3.5) game.
Something turn based, not line NWN2 and not a dungeon crawer like for example Dungeon Hack
Any suggestions?

Icewind Dale II?

Icewind Dale II?
Yeah, I'm looking for something more turn based.
Something like HoMM series

Unless you want to dip into the older games in older editions, the only D&D computer games I can think of use real-time game engines. I think there was a turn-based one on console on the Gamecube, PS2, and/or XBox, but I haven't a clue what it was called (not Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, that one was a Diablo-style hack and slasher).

If you're willing to go real old-school, play Betrayal at Krondor. It's available at GOG or you can find it for free online. Graphics were pretty good (for 1993, ha); but the real selling point is, it's one of the best RPGs ever written. And the combat system is turn-based. AND, it takes place in the world of Raymond E. Feist's Riftwar Saga, which grew out of the D&D campaign that Feist ran for many years.
