Noticed 2 small problems ...

a) security certificate triggered Firefox block

b) post size limit , triggered once

Probably because there ISN'T a security cert. Chrome is giving me all the red flags when I try to log in, saying any passwords are insecure, that kind of thing.

Well, they are. Don't use your super-secret highlander password here. Use something stupid like "Password". No one is going to sign in as you on a message board.

It's this - a character or two cuts the post. Not sure why, trying to get Prime to sort it. Anyone else who knows how to resolve it, ideas are welcome.

It seems like some non-ascii characters are breaking things. I had problems with a couple types of quotes, and also a multiplication symbol. I've only found those when I copy-pasted from a google cache version of a page...

The issue matches the description of this bug, except we're already using UTF-8.

Does it work if you copy-paste the text into Notepad, then copy-paste that to the forum?

EDIT: The data was in UTF-8, but the board's language was set to a non-UTF-8 version of English. Try it now.

0.o the boards administrator. And yes copying (and saving) into notepad is great because it won't let you save non-ascii things anyway (weird accent vowels, chinese symbols, or anything people use unicode for).

Also this boards has 15 posts per page, whereas the old one had 20. I only know this because my Thread and Build Compendium was the only handbook besides Bhu's huge template thread to required me to save multiple pages back in 2016 (and kept current). Man that template thread is still begging for excel...

Speaking of excel, I lost the google drive link for when I posted the (complete text, cough cough) sortable spell database. I still have the data, of course.

Also noticed SBLOCK isn't making it over from googlecache.
And you have to manually click the sblock to get that content !!
Easy enough to SPOILER afterwards.
