Got your PM and thanks.
EDIT --- what a mess I could have fixed.
I did put up a googlecache link, but it's already not working.
Giles The Cleric found a better googlecache --->
... but it doesn't have the much longer Hyena Of Ice timeline.

Of which ... I found this

Oh yeah. I remember why I thought the was important (besides the cool, fluff history). Basically it was to allow an organic, cat-girl killing evolutionary model of cosmology since all the false gods were dead. I had already simplified the entire D&D cosmology, excluding wildly conflicting and messy setting-specific stuff. Only then did I understand why people would say "No Faerun books" or whatever in a campaign.

Note this is not homebrew. It is me consolidating fragmented RAW into a single RAI. Cosmology.txt in the MetaCompendium's 3e fixed Campaign-Based folder:

This is basically me going through the MotP and presenting how to use it all at once (it is canon after all).

Since the future and present were fixed, the past was the only thing next. That's why I suggested that the above history could just be inflation and exaggeration by those who have (had) power to those who didn't. Aboleths were the only thing I could think of that would need to be addressed and I seem to remember that aboleths didn't respect the gods so that's not a problem.

And 10-40k years is nothing evolutionarily. So there don't seem to be any lose ends to worry about. But I'd like to check that against a fully homogenized list, if you're willing to clean it up and order for me, aDMg.
Sigh. Not again. :(

( some day we'll look back on this "storm shelter" and ... )

Aboleths have Piscaethces and some casually horrendous trickery can be available.
I don't know any other references than FC1 (I'm not saying their aren't any)
that mention paraphrasing "the spaces between the planes".
This might be the equivalent of the Far Realms.  Or the writers were being excessively florid.

2e probably has the most specific descriptions of The Outlands.
iirc the Rings around The Spire, reach out to 1000 miles radius (+ ?).
Then there's undefined space, until the Gate Towns region, also undefined.
Some perhaps left on the editors floor material, beyond that region (idk).
Next there's 5-30 days walking (ONLY!) to get to the 10th Ring.
iirc the size of the 10th Ring is undefined.
Then 5-30 days more walking to the 11th Ring, also size undefined.

And repeats once again to the 12th Ring, which only has the reference
of the Karsus Avatar thingy Spell, that temporarily killed a deity.
Supposedly no one has ever returned from the 12th Ring,
and anyone with Divinations of it, are Not talking.

One could speculate that the 4e Spellplague is 15th+ Ring material.
The t.o. board knows Pun-pun made it to 4e via the Artifact Lord EpicD capstone.
