I'm back!

Any chance I could get a homebrew subforum like before for my larger compilations? It seems like you're trying to keep things more condensed than the sprawling subforums we had before; I can make do easily with just one subforum and have things sorted within. I'm writing a take home final for my masters course right now, but hopefully I should have the chance to start posting my old homebrew in a few days when it's done, so no rush.

What's the status of the tablesort tag? It seems to function as a table2, like before, but the sorting function doesn't seem to work any more (see thread). Not an urgent request.

Oh thank god, I was starting to worry that I would have to port over your stuff when I finish with my own....

Not to worry. I have all of my complete homebrew (and a lot of the only partially complete stuff) backed up locally on my home computer. When I get the chance, I'll start reposting it here. I just did the three that Sirpercival asked for. If there's anything in particular you want fast, let me know so I can prioritize it. Just don't bother asking for Power of Cybernetics. Reposting that is a project in and of itself.

Port over whatever you want, just make sure you get everything that I helped review.   

FYI if you make changes to anything as you move it over to the board I'm happy to review it again, I'm doing that for Sirpercival for a couple of things.

Actually on the topic of avatars, MMX had slightly bigger ones than the terrible 50x50 (sorry, 65x65 to be specific but close enough!) we seem to be on right now. It's been a very very long time since I was in a forum using a size limit that small

I imagine that restoring your post counts/rep/handbook writer status/blahblah would require access to the previous database?

Infrequent as my posting may be, I'd still like to be a handbook writer status at least, if possible. ^^

Checking the "Don't use smileys" option on a post breaks the [*] tag.

Also, is there any news on the status of sortable tables? The [tablesort] tag works fine (it makes a table, just like [table2]), except for the sorting function, which doesn't seem to be implemented. I think I may have asked about this already. It's not a pressing concern, either way.

What just happened? The boards went kablooey, and now the old threads are in and the new stuff is on an address prefixed with storm-shetler. Not that I'm complaining about the old board threads being recovered (yay), but a little warning would have been appreciated. I just hope I'm not going to have to update all my links again.

We're working on a fix for updating all links permanently, so that everything that exists won't have to be redone. But the boards are back.

Glad the backup boards are still here. We can still communicate with the staff in case bugs drop the main boards for a bit.

I'm getting "Unable to load the 'main_above' template." when I try to load the main boards. I'm sure you've noticed already and are working on fixing it, but I figure mentioning it can't hurt in the off chance you didn't.

Nope. On my laptop. Same Firefox web browser that was working just fine an hour ago.

In any case, the problem seems to be resolved.

It's come up once or twice briefly, usually seems to hit on a cellphone. I've talked to Prime about it.
